Orange can energize a quiet, classic bathroom by adding it to only one focal point fixture. The tub is a possible place, particularly considering how frequently those freestanding classics are salvaged for new bathtub projects. Instead of having a tub refinished in white, consider adding bold colour, very similar to this York Tub by Victoria + Albert.

Most homeowners will not opt for all-orange countertops in their kitchens or master bathrooms, however a focal-point orange top really can enliven a room. Here it’s revealed in ultra-premium Pyrolave counters, made of volcanic rock.

Laminate Floor which Imitates Look of Saltillo Tile

Saltillo is a classic Southwestern and Spanish Revival flooring material, but isn’t always a practical selection for modern American houses. If you love the orange look of those floors, particularly with creamy cabinets, you can get the look with durable porcelain laminate or tile, as exhibited here.

Other orange-flavored floors comprise honey walnut (that I only ran through my kitchen and living areas in a piano gloss laminate) and cork.

On a smaller scale, a glass sink is just another fixture-friendly way to add orange to your bathroom. While wading pool designs have taken over lately, there are still many different vessel sink fans around the design scene. These sinks can make a strong statement in a powder room.

Background – $250

Background has created a strong comeback, I’m happy to say. It’s a convenient way to add design, fun and energy to a space. I can see this vibrant paper in a teenaged woman’s bath or in a powder room. Just bear in mind that you may need to take it down when you’re ready to sell your home.

If you like a fashion color like orange, then upgrading a cupboard with hardware in that colour is an easy shift. If you do not need to perform an entire kitchen, think about it for a bar area or bathroom instead.

Inside Avenue

Orange and White Ceramic Garden Stool – $290

Garden stools are ideal for bathrooms. They can function as a tub-side table, an extra shelf when you absence storage or an occasional use seat. Given their fun shapes, why don’t you include a fun colour to them, too? Chances areyour fittings are white and could use a boost.

Greek Key Pillows by Anita Scasa – $46

Fabrics are an excellent way to add the year’s hot colour to your kitchen. If you’re the cautious type, think about neutrals for your bigger pieces, like banquette cushions and draperies, and add punches of color with accent cushions and non-custom seat or stool cushions.

Hint: I highly recommend materials rated for outdoor use, as are more stain-resistant, low maintenance and durable.
