Peat moss increases soil, whether you use it or include it to your garden bed. Although lower in in nutrients, peat gives an illness and normally sterile -free modification that increases both correct and drainage moisture-retention in the soil. Peat moss is usually offered in bales. These bricks of peat simply take up minimum room, enabling storage and simpler transportation. Storing the bales correctly retains them sterile and dry till you are prepared to use them.

Store dry and un-opened peat bales for as much as one year. Bales don’t offer the drainage advantage of clean bales and start to degrade. Outdated peat moss can be added by you to your compost pile.
